"Musharref's move today is not a good thing by any means. I see a repeat of Iran taking place. Musharref's public opinion will plummet from this, and calls for his removal will become loud indeed. Extremists will play on this to call for an end to democracy and the institution of islamic law. If they succeed, we'll have the equivalent of Iran with a nuclear arsenal already available to it. This is undeniably the most serious threat in the world at present."
