Денис Кусинич вчера поздно вечером выступил в Конгрессе с требование импичмента президента по 35 статьям. Чтение его резолюции заняло более 4-х часов. Полный текст:

Сегодня к Кусиничу присоединился флоридский конгрессмен Роберт Векслер в качестве спонсора резолюции: "A decision by Congress to pursue impeachment is not an option, it is a sworn duty. It is time for Congress to stand up and defend the Constitution against the blatant violations and illegalities of this Administration. Our Founding Fathers bestowed upon Congress the power of impeachment, and it is now time that we use it to defend the rule of law from this corrupt Administration."

Лично я с удовольствием нашла среди статей объвинения Article XXI: "MISLEADING CONGRESS AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ABOUT THREATS FROM IRAN, AND SUPPORTING TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN IRAN, WITH THE GOAL OF OVERTHROWING THE IRANIAN GOVERNMENT." Хотелось бы, чтобы это обвинение когресс хоть немного пожевал для снижения вероятности войны с Ираном.
