Nowhere does that imply a necessity for verbal abuse of males. As to the feminine porn (for that's what those novels are): it is of no more concern than than the masculine sort.
I do have a more general question: why do discussions of equality of sexes tend to degenerate into fantastic descriptions between heterosexual couples? As I understand it, feminism has more to do primarily with striving for equality in the public sphere.
